StoryDrive Catalyst

StoryDrive partners with people, churches, and ministries to empower followers of Christ to know and share their stories.

StoryDrive is an initiative of The 3:15 Project, a ministry is rooted in the verse 1 Peter 3:15 which says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”

Why I’m Serving with The 3:15 Project

“And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.” (ESV, Revelation 12:11)

The first time I stood up in front of a crowd of 700 young women and shared my story, I compared the abundant life in Christ and my experience in Him to the first time I went skydiving. No, you don’t feel like you’re falling (people always ask me that). Actually, it’s more like floating. A quick prayer or Hail Mary, a brisk push from someone close, and a leap of faith. BAM! You are on your way to a journey of life or death. Exciting, huh? Yup, good times!

When I first encountered The 3:15 Project, the phrase that stood out was that we, the Church, will be “accountable for our testimony and our technology”. That hit me like a ton of bricks, or rather, like the wind catching my forehead at 120 miles per hour while I skydived.

There is no denying the impact of that truth. As Revelation 12:11 alludes, there is a non-love of self that comes alongside the power of story. It is the most pouring-out, giving, nurturing, self-sacrificing, even birthing-or-bringing-forth-life-sort-of-thing that one can do, and it IS life or death.

Christ gave His life for that story, to tell it to us, to live it for us. Like being shoved from a plane (which had duct tape holding the ladder together, sort of like our faith walk, isn’t it?), telling your story is a journey of prayer (of the saints), prodding (of the saints), and pushing (of the saints). It is a collective work, an obligation even, for us, the Bride of Christ.

As a woman passionate about ministry, I am stepping into this missional role with the same vigor and enthusiasm with which I jumped out of that plane. I love learning and experiencing life change alongside everyday people while promoting the advancement of the Gospel. Nurturing discipleship and healing in others is my passion, and I fervently enjoy exploring and illuminating every aspect of HIS STORY in the lives of the saints. The Church is in position, with the aircraft door open and the wind hitting its forehead; it is just time to jump.

We need to unleash the “word of their testimony”. The Church is pregnant, ripe, and positioned to take the plunge into transformative, life-changing release with the tools of the age --- technology.

We, the Church, will overcome, conquer, and be victorious over the battle for souls once we take the plunge and unleash our stories. It’s not complicated. May we be obedient, even courageous. Even now, come Holy Spirit. Speak, Lord; your servants are listening.

Will You Join Me?

The heart of this ministry has captivated me and parallels all that I live, breathe, and move. I’m inviting you to join us in our mission to empower followers of Christ to know and share their stories in Lynchburg, Virginia, and to the ends of the earth! Monthly support and prayer are most helpful, but a one-time or special gift will greatly help as well.

Thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration of this opportunity!
